What are your thoughts about album #2, Perhaps Love?
I was looking forward to PERHAPS LOVE release. I always loved the Jon Denver composition and the Title track of this album is beautifully sung by the duo. The promotional video was super too. The Arms of An Angel, such a very emotional song. It was great to hear solo tracks too, as I realised from the Documentary that the duo had different and separate aspirations. I adored VA PENSIERO performed by Jonathan as this has always been a favourite of mine, though I hadn't previously known that it came from an Opera. Jonathan's other solos, SANTA LUCIA & O SOLE MIO were sung with such enthusiasm and such maturity of voice, and it sounded like Jonathan was having fun! I also really enjoyed having the 2 Christmas songs on the album. I hope when Jonathan records his next Album that "O Holy Night" and "When A Child Is Born" will be among those chosen for inclusion in the promised Christmas Album.
Well this album will be always special because I listen to it through Skype from Scotland! Imagine me in Buenos Aires, the other side of the world. Va Pensiero thrill me that time and still does. But the emotion of listening to it was kind of relief to the heart, knowing the CD was on its way to my country. I will always thanks that moment to me dear Friend Ruth.
Really loved Jonathan's solos on the album , Santa Lucia , Va Pensiero, and O Sole Mio show Jonathan's strength and joy in his voice , the title track Perhaps Love I had never heard of before , but wow i was blown away with the beauty of the song.
On Perhaps love Arms of an Angel is a very special song for my family. It brings my niece and nephew close to their mum who passed away. They often play it and it reminds them of her. Im also very partial to 3, 7 and 10 🤗
There are 3 tracks on Perhaps Love that have more play time in my car or home and they are 3,7,10 with 10 being my favourite .
